Tropical fish in Goulburn can now be found in Aquarium Addict! [formerly Goulburns Aquarium and Bird Center]
Still in the early stage of setting up but check back with us often for more videos on tropical aquarium freshwater fish, and we will have more varieties of cold water fish, and marine fish as we increase our stock.
This is a mixture of Cichlids swimming around in a 6′x2″ x2″ tank. You can see how the rocks and plants give them a habitat they love. They also have room to indulge their “landscaping” habits without pulling down the rock caves.
You can also see more fish clips on Squido.
Maingano Cichlids are the bright and deep iridescent blue fish. You can see one under the driftwood, then she comes out to spit out the gravel. She had been busy doing this when I grabbed the camera, but she was interupted and didn’t get back for a while.
If they get to much interference from their neighbors they give up on that spot and find another one. This changes the gravel “landscape” quite a bit!
Our tropical aquarium contains African Cichlids and Bristlenose Catfish. They co-exist peacefully, and the Bristlenoses never miss a mealtime even though they are busy all day harvesting algae from the rocks, driftwood and plants.
