I love Tropical fish!

I live in Goulbourn N.S.W Australia, and Cichlids in particular hold a special interest; from Electric Yellows, Electric Blues, Discus Cichlids. Discus Cichlids are are a regal bunch, with a depth of color that has to be seen to be believed!

The Bristle Nose catfish are a busy lot, intriguing to watch, and they are useful in cleaning up the tank as well.

Fish have always interested me, from actual recreational fishing in Lake Macquarie to beach fishing around Swansea.

I also have worked on a fishing trawler out of Nelsons Bay, and it is amazing what comes up in the nets!

I had a Tropical fish tank given to me one Christmas as a lad, and here started my addiction with the whole Tropical fish aquarium! One tank led to another as my fish bred profusely, until we had tanks pretty much in every room, and verandas.

My love of fish continues, and this website and my blog is a “work-in-progress” that I invite you to share with me, please feel free to send me pictures of your own fish, tell me your funny or sad stories, and I will happily publish them on my website for you. I also need to give credit where it is due.
